The first “International Russian Conservative Forum”, held in 2015, which was attended by members of the European parties that supporting the conservative and nationalist ideas, continues to be one of the most pressing issues of the political agenda of St. Petersburg and Russia, we can say, considering the politically partisan citizens. However, Poltavchenko said that the event was held in the private sector and did not require agreement for the meeting and no reasons to. prohibition event. They will not be in 2016, probably.
Earlier, on the eve of the IRC Forum the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly deputy of the party Communist Komolova Irina appealed to the Prosecutor General of Russia Yuri Chaika with a request to prohibit the activities of right-wing parties of Europe, participated in the Forum.

That is logical, all parties and movements are legal and permitted in their home countries, are represented in their parliaments and the European Parliament. The question of the prohibition of such parties in Russia looking, quite frankly bizarre. Especially since they are pro-Russian against the background of the general anti-Russian hysteria in the Russian Federation.
In the article of “Fontanka” website about the Poltavchenko statement also noted that “the Forum caused a negative public reaction.” But the question arises whether it is really broad public opinion of St. Petersburg residents, or this “public” – just a group of aggressive liberals. At the same time Forum adversaries is the 36.1%, and proponents – 49.1%, of which 23.1 ourselves would take part in it, and advocate for its prohibition only 24%. 24% is clearly not drawn to the “public condemnation” (incidentally, the real veterans was not observed in the protests against the Forum in 2015, which also an indicator of the real state of affairs).

Here are the voting results only to people over 18 years (a total of 345 of the 601 have voted which represents 57.4%), that indicates that among adults support forum is located at the level of 50.2% And opponents only 18.5%.

But if we consider the structure by gender of the voters, we will see that the radically tuned against the forum predominantly women. Total in voting take part 117 women, accounting for 19.47%.
Moreover, among the voters for the option “Very negative!”, Women accounted for 39.6%, ie nearly half, and for the option “I sympathize with this event” and “I would have took part in it!” totally constituted only 10,37%.

That is, the total support of the forum among men for the last two variants of answers among men 55.37%. The percentage of men supporting the Forum in the total number of positively pertaining to it is 89%, while women only about 11%.

The two main conclusions can be drawn about the voting.
- Being the subject of a serious conflict of different political forces , primarily conservative and liberal ,the Forum does not cause the so-called ” universal condemnation ” , but it is likely approval of almost 50 % of voters. If we talk about the radical opponents of the forum , they are only 24 % and , most likely, they are biased liberal.
- If we consider a typical portrait of a supporter of the Forum , there is adult man in priority, and in rarer cases – adult woman. Opponents of the Forum are mostly the women and underage women. We can make a conclusion that older and more experienced and conservative men support the Forum more readily.
The so-called the “mass public protest ” are the girls 14-18 years old, which, due to its natural bent for ” humanism ” came under the influence of various manipulations of Kobrin , Komolov and Vishnevskii.
